Our History

Alpha Chi Omega was founded on October 15, 1885 at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. Since then, 194 chapters have been established across the country with over 200,000 initiates. Illinois' Iota Chapter was chartered at the University of Illinois campus on December 8, 1899.
